More Presents Today

We never got to open all our presents on Christmas since Clay was out working so today Chloe opened her present from mommy and daddy......She LOVES it! I posted a picture - it is a vtech toy with steering wheel and piano board on it. You can take the board top off and put it on the floor for tummy time, you can put it on the legs and tilt it down for when she can sit and when she starts to walk you can put it on top and she can stand hold on and push it around. Her favorite is standing - silly girl is gonna walk before she crawls.

Merry 1st Christmas Chloe

We had a wonderful Christmas this year - it would have been even better if Clay didn't have to work from 5-1 but oh well it was still great! Here are a few pictures....Chloe with her first baby from Nanna, Poppy and Auntie Jessi - she likes to suck on the baby's face....kisses, lol! She also liked pulling the wrapping paper off the packages - it would immediately go in her mouth - yum!

This makes me cry!!!

My New FAVORITE SONG - it fits to a T! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Listen to it live when you press the play button on the right of my blog - here are the lyrics, tell me what you think - it makes me cry thinking about my baby girl growing up!

He didnt have to wake up
He'd been up all nite
Lay'n there in bed listen'n
To his new born baby cry
He makes a pot of coffee
He splashes water on his face
His wife gives him a kiss and says
It gonna be OK

It wont be like this for long
One day soon we'll look back laugh'n
At the week we brought her home
This phase is gonna fly by
So baby just hold on
It wont be like this for long

Four years later bout four thirty
She's crawling in there bed
And when he drops her off at preschool
She's clinging to his leg
The teacher peels her off of him
He says what can I do
She says now dont you worry
This will only last a week or two

It wont be like this for long
One day soon we'll drop her off
And she wont even know your gone
This phase is gonna fly by
If you can just hold on

It wont be like this for long
One day soon she'll be a teenager
And at times you'll think she hates him
Then he'll walk her down the isle
And he'll raise her vale

But right now she up and cry'n
And the truth is that he dont mind
As he kisses her good night
And she says her prayers
He lays down there beside her
Till her eyes are finally closed
And just watch'n her it breaks his heart
Cause he already knows

It wont be like this for long
One day soon that little girl is gonna be
All grown up and gone
Yeah this phase is gonna fly by
He's try'n to hold on
It wont be like this for long
It wont be like this for long

- she is really interested in playing with her toys, she especially likes this puppy that grandma got her that talks/sings when you touch it's paws and tummy. She also really likes playing in her exersaucer! She loves Dora, bathtime, laying on the floor kicking and talking, and playtime with everyone that loves her!

Today my friend Angela and I took Izzy and Chloe to sit on Santa's lap. Sorry the picture isn't the greatest I took a picture with my camera of the picture so I could blog it. I just had to share how cute it is that Chloe is holding Santa's finger - so cute even though she is looking at mommie and not the camera. And the bonus part of it was...we got there at 2 and Santa had just left and wouldn't be back till 3 well we decided to stand there and wait since Chloe was asleep anyways so we'd be the first ones in line. We were thinking this sucks until the lady came over and said "Santa appreciates you waiting so we'll give you a FREE 5x7 of both the girls on Santa's lap together." It was cute - we might have to start a tradition of doing this together!

2nd Cousins

Last weekend we went to Sears and got all the 2nd cousins together for a picture...we could not believe the photographer was able to get such a GREAT shot! We all figured they'd all be looking different directions, but he did an awesome job! Then Krista and I got the two girls together for a few pictures as well. For those that don't know Ashley and Tristan (the oldest two) and Cooper (the 3 year old in the cream shirt) are my cousin Jill's kids, then Elise and Riley (other two in front) are cousin Tony's kiddos and then Brooke is cousin Krista's baby girl...and of couse you all know Chloe!

Bathtime Fun

After that rice cereal and filling her diaper it was time for one of her favorite things....bathtime!

YUM.....Rice Cereal!

Chloe has been really interested in food lately - when we were at Red Robin last weekend I had her on my lap and she leaned forward with her mouth open like give me a bite mom. So we decided to try some rice cereal last night and it went pretty good but as you can see from the last picture a few bites were enough and then she wanted her bottle.

I forgot one more thing she loves to do - blow bubbles and raspberries, even when she has the hiccups....

4 Months

Silly daddy put my silky on my head!

4 months old - my goodness!
We went to Chloe's 4 month wellness check up on Tuesday. Poor baby had to have the liquid shots in her mouth and then 3 shots in her little chubby legs. She knew it was coming this time - started screaming when the lady was putting the liquid in her mouth - by time she got the shots in her legs I'm pretty sure she was screaming so hard she didn't even feel them. It was bad - and it's just going to get worse from here I'm thinking!

Here are her stats:
Weight: 14lbs 13ounces (75%)
Height: 26 1/4 inches (95%)
Head: 16 1/2 inches (75%)

Here is what she is up to lately.....
Always has her fingers/fists in her mouth, poor baby always has wet and cold hands!
Playing with her toys - sticking them in her mouth - LOVES her new Curious George.
Smiles all the time especially at daddy - she is such a happy baby!
Has really good head control.
Hums along with you when you rock and sing her to sleep.
Almost rolling over - we are still working on this.
Sometimes still gets up once a night but that is when she goes to sleep at 7:30-8ish otherwise likes to sleep till around 5.
Loves to talk/scream especially when no one is paying attention to her.
LOVES everyone that watches her....Nanna, Poppy, Auntie Jessie, Grandma & Grandma Sherry.

We are loving every minute with our could you not - she is such a sweetie.
