18 Months & First Real Haircut

Chloe turned 18 months and it was time for a first "real" haircut. No more mommy haircuts! I didn't want to be blamed for a bad chop again! She did really good and sat still. When it was done she had a cute little bob! I can't believe she is 18 months still seems like she should be just a little baby! She surprises me every single day with new words and discoveries. She is a little mockingbird, saying everything we say but WAY CUTER! Some of her favorite things right now are her kitchen, sticker books, The Lion King movie, Brown Bear, Brown Bear book (she can recite all the animals and colors) her fuzzy Polar bear book (gosh it's funny when she says
Caribou), and of course is still in love with her Dora. We are working on counting and ABC's! She can say 1,2,3,4 all by herself and will repeat up to 10. She likes to sing Twinkle, Twinkle and Row Row Your Boat. She also loves to do the motions to the song "If your happy and you know it" and "The Wheels on the Bus." I know I'm leaving out a bunch more stuff she is doing these days but this is all I can think of at the moment! She still eats pretty much all food with the exception to Teriaki Chicken which is weird because regular chicken is prob one of her favs. She loves dipping her food - green beans in ketchup, and anything in ranch! As I said in the previous post she is a total outside girl and loves swimming. I am going to have to enroll her again soon in the swimming lessons! This same day we did the haircut we also had a dr. checkup and she weighs 26 lbs. We also had her 18 month pictures taken this day so look forward to seeing these soon!

My lil puddle jumper

Chloe discovered our mud puddles out in the front yard. She was having so much fun splashing through them. I had to laugh when she tried out a deeper puddle and sunk to her knee and was stuck in the mud! As I recall this day she had a major meltdown when I told her it was time to go inside:( She is definately an outdoor girl - takes after her daddy!

New Years Bowling

New Years this year was pretty laid back...we took Chloe bowling! Jesse and Jill had Nathan and Ava for the night so we took the kids down to the bowling alley to have some fun. The kids had a great time and we had a great time watching them get so excited rolling the ball down the lane.

Happy Dance!

Chloe absolutely loved Mommie and Me Swimming lessons at the Y! We did it four Saturdays and had such a great time. After that every time we went to Spokane or Chloe saw her swimming suit she'd say "Swimming??" So I am going to sign us up to go again sometime soon!
