Preschool Projects!

It is Spring Break for Preschool this week!  Since I haven't gotten any Chloe made projects this week I am going to post a few from this past month!  She enjoys bringing home her projects each day from preschool to share with us and we REALLY enjoy it too! "Look Mommy and Daddy what I made you!"

My Girl

While we were getting 2nd cousin pictures the photographer just happened to snap this one of my precious, sweetest face ever, adorable, cute, funny, smart, "I do it myself" little girl.

2nd Cousins

This weekend my cousin Krista and her family were up from Boise so we took the girls in to have their pictures taken together again.  We loved the ones of them when they were both just a couple months old so we wanted to do it again!  Chloe and Brooke are no longer little babies but adorable 2 year old girls!  I love how these pictures turned out just as much as the ones when they were babies!  We also got a couple with other 2nd cousins Riley and Elise!  It is so much fun getting all the kids together to play and hopefully they will all grow up as close as us 1st cousins have!

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

On Saturday after swimming lessons we met up with our friends Nicole, McCall and McGuire at the Corbin Art Center for a Mommy and Me St. Patrick's Day class. The kids had a lot of fun making hats, leprechan frames and pots of gold! After that we went to lunch and then to the St. Patrick's Day Parade! Chloe had her pockets FULL of candy by time we left the parade so she was happy:) It was a very fun St. Patrick's filled day!

I Pledge Allegiance...

Chloe started reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to us at the beginning of this week - only one month after starting Preschool!  Mommy and Daddy are SOOOO proud!!

Grandma is FLOCKED!!

There is a Davenport Little Guy Wrestling fundraiser right now where if you pay $25 you can flock someone with these 25 lovely ladies. SO we couldn't resist flocking Grandma! Chloe fits right in with the flamingos in her princess Aurora dress! AKA princess Aurora and her flock!

Chloe and I started Mommy and Me swimming lessons again today at the YMCA. It is so much fun, not only does Chloe love it but I also enjoy my time with her in the pool! Here she is doing a little swimsuit modeling before we head out the door this morning;)

I started Preschool!

Chloe started Preschool the second week in February and after just a month she is completely loving every minute of it! We are SOOOO proud of her! I was a little worried that I would be the mom sitting in the back of the kindergarten classroom because she couldn't deal with me not being there with her. The reason I was worried is because Chloe went to daycare about 4 times in December/January and pretty much cried the whole day for me. It hurt me to leave her screaming as I walked out the front door and even more when I picked her up and she would tell me how she did NOT want to go back. Grandma was casually talking to a customer one day and she was saying how she was doing preschool again and that she took 2 1/2 year olds - I was stoked but also dreading that first day drop off! I knew I had to take this step and do it as it would be easier on both of us now to have her cry then when she just got older! The first day came and she cried just as I knew she would but I knew she would be fine as it's only from 8:15-11:30. When I picked her up she was extastic to see me and never said she didn't want to go back so that was a step in the right direction! She had to get used to it quickly since it is 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Well just as I had expected that first week came and went and by the 2nd week she was walking right in by herself with no tears and loving it, her new friends and her teacher! Clay and I also very much love it because she brings us home Chloe made projects every day! I posted a picture below of just a few of her creations!
