Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
So much to be thankful for this year...a roof over my head, a job that I love, this precious little girl that makes me smile every single day, growing baby H in my belly and the fact that I only have 1 month left until I deliver, that my mom had a great scan this past week and continues to grow stronger each day, my husband who at the Thanksgiving dinner table said he was thankful for his BEAUTIFUL wife...awwww, and all of our family and friends that we love!
Couldn't ask for anything more - feeling pretty darn blessed!

Halloween was so much fun this year!!  Chloe was the girl "Merida" from the new movie "Brave."  We could never remember the girls name so we just called her our "Brave" girl.  She loved the costume with it's big red wig, princess dress and bow n arrow set, just like daddy's!  On Halloween she had preschool and they celebrated by having a pajama day.  When I picked her up from school we went home and got dressed up so she could go down to Jillybeans to enter into the costume contest and drink hot cocoa with McCall and McGuire.  The twins came over to play for the afternoon after pictures and cocoa - the 3 of them were full of giggles all day!  Finally it was time to Trick or Treat and we hit more houses this year than ever before - Chloe loved it!

I LOVE the month of October! Lots of fall fun and HALLOWEEN!!

Here is what else we were up to…

Chloe learned the letters E and F in preschool.
Chloe attended Dance class every Tuesday evening. We were invited to preview a lesson the week of Halloween when they were all dressed up in their costumes.
Chloe had a play date with friend Vanessa at Mrs. Joans.
Chloe had SoccerTots every Saturday.

Grandma, Chloe and I met up with Natalie and Triplets at a pumpkin patch one afternoon after Grandma’s infusion appointment.
Clay, Chloe, Nana, Poppy and I went to lunch and to pick pumpkins at Greenbluff.

I passed my 1 hour glucose pregnancy screening – yay!
Chloe and I hosted dinner at our house and had best friend Natalie, the triplets, Grandma Sherry, Grandma and Aunt Patty over.

We celebrated Poppy’s birthday!

Chloe had a play date at friend Chloe B.’s.
Baby H. kept growing in my belly this month as I went from 26 to 30 weeks!

It was pajama day at preschool on Halloween.
Happy Halloween!

pumpkin carving or not...

The Sunday before Halloween we went to carve our pumpkins.  Chloe loved scooping out the seeds and guts this year and was really excited to carve.  Seriously though pumpkin carving just doesn't work with little kids!  Chloe really tried with her little tool, but quickly got frustrated.  Luckily I remembered that a few years ago I had purchased these little peg eyes, ears and noses that you can just stick into the pumpkins so I got them out!  She was happy again and with a some help from mommy we created a dog face, a pig face and of course her favorite a cat face!
Wondering about her outfit??  She is wearing an old dance costume of mine! I remember very much disliking that costume but Chloe loves it!  Her comment was "doesn't this look like a farmer outfit??!!"....hmmm??? Silly girl!

Dinner Date 10/26/12

Last Friday Chloe and I hosted dinner at our house. We had Natalie and the triplets over along with Grandma Sherry, Grandma and Aunt Patty. It was so much fun! Chloe got her costume on and Natalie put Opal, Scarlett and Ike in their pumpkin costumes so we could attempt to get a picture of them all together. The photo op didn’t go as hoped but it was hilarious watching them all on the couch as they rolled around in those pumpkin costumes giggling the whole time. Chloe jumped back and forth between them all as they rolled tickling as she went. I love that we have been able to get together with the kiddos more and more!
