Skyhawk Sports

At the beginning of August Chloe did a week long skyhawks camp here in town.  They learned skills in baseball, soccer and basketball.  She had a great time and loved every minute of it!  The kids were troopers as that week the temps were in the 90s each day - HOT!!  Mommy and Daddy were working while she was at camp so I didn't get many pictures but here are a few...

First day of Kindergarten

Yesterday Chloe started Kindergarten!!!  I still can't believe she is old enough to go to school.  Still seems like yesterday that I had her in my tummy.  We are so proud of the little girl she has become and know she will do great this year!

a Saturday full of FUN!

This last Saturday we had friends, Angela, Izzy and Kenzie down for a play day!  We haven't seen them since before Easter so we were well overdue!!  It was such a fun day!  First we went to the park and the girls went swimming, then we went for ice cream.  After that we went back to our house and the girls just played and played until dinner.  We roasted hotdogs which was fun for the girls and they actually tasted quite good;)  And even though it was hot out they all jumped in the hottub!  After they left I think both of my girls were asleep in about 10 minutes!! It was a GOOD day!

Park and Pool Fun

Last Saturday we met Chloe's preschool friends and families at the park for a bbq and swimming at the pool before school starts.  Two of her friends will be in preschool 1 more year so it was fun seeing and playing with them!  I think the kids had a great time as well as us parents;)

River Fun

Two Sundays ago we all headed down to the river for the afternoon...Mommy, Daddy, Chloe, Layla, Grandma, Nana, Poppy and Aunt Jessi.  We got the perfect spot on the beach and the boat was ready to go.  Chloe and I were excited to try out this new double tube that we got from Art and Carolyn.  Layla LOVED getting in the water with Chloe and had SO much fun in the floatie that Auntie Natalie let us borrow.  When we put her on the beach to play in the sand she did what every typical baby would do and put a handful of sand in her mouth -yucky!  When Chloe and I were ready to go tubing we got on the tube and as the boat pulled away from the docks it kept dying.  The week before Nana and Poppy had it out and drove it all over the lake and now it was not running:(  Clay and I think we are bad luck around the boat because we always seem to have problems with it - UGH!!  Jessi had to jump in and pull us back to the dock.  Even though the boat didn't run we had a great time just hanging out at the beach together!!
