Riverfront Park!

On Wednesday August 20th the girls and I headed to Spokane.  We had check up appointments and shots for Buggy:(  After that we met up with our friends, Angela and her girls Izzy and Kenzie!  We haven't seen them in a long time so the girls were thrilled to finally meet up!  First we went to lunch at Red Robin, then we had to get a picture in the infamous red high heel.  After that we headed to Riverfront Park!!  Chloe got a voucher for participating in the school's Bloomsday program so we had a buy one get one free day pass.  I gave it to Ang so we each just had to buy 1 day pass.  Buggy was free which was nice but also a bummer because she couldn't go on any rides:(  Here is a difference in my girls...Chloe finally just now at age 6 likes the rides and Layla would have gone on all of them at age 20 months if she could have!  I remember taking Chloe to the park when she was 3 or 4 and putting her on the tiny train and she screamed.  She has never even once been on the carousal until this day because she was always too scared!  Layla LOVED the carousal and even got mad when I took her off after the first ride.  AGAIN she said:)  We had so much fun!!  And we totally got our money worth out of the day pass as the girls went on the rides multiple times.

We could tell the little girls were getting sleepy so we went for a ride in the train around the park.  See how tired they all look?!  I was hoping Layla would fall asleep but no such luck.  After the train we headed back to the mall for ice cream before we parted ways.  Both my girls crashed in the car on the way home.  Such a fun day with great friends!

  1. Isn't it so funny how their personalities can be so different!?! You'd think sisters would be more alike!
