Preschool Program

On Thursday May 26th we went to Layla's end of the year preschool program. She is not graduating yet but four of her friends are and her best friend is moving to Mexico. That leaves Layla and one other little girl for the fall and lots of new friends, which will be fun! Layla has learned so much this year at preschool - the biggest being able to write her own name! We love Miss Joan, she is an amazing teacher and so loving. She made a keepsake book for us with different things the class did this past year and it means so much to us to have!
We love you Layla Wade and are SO PROUD of you!

Sarah's 80's Trolley

On Saturday May 21st a bunch of girls got dressed up in 80's outfits to celebrate Sarah's 35th birthday! We went to dinner at Zola and then got on the trolley. The night ended with dance, dance, dancing! SO. MUCH. FUN!

Just think if they had a selfie stick in the 80's - HA!

Wine Run

On Saturday May 14th some girlfriends and I drove to Kennewick for the Ultimate Wine Run 5K. Let me just say this was an experience! I don't know that you could have actually ran. The trail was literally thru a vineyard and the terrain was rocky, sandy and you had to watch for holes. A lady actually fell down in front of us even! PLUS to make it that much more worse it started pouring down rain as we neared the finish line. We were going to stay and eat at the food trucks and dance along with the music but the rain totally ran us out of there. While we waited for our bus (you couldn't even drive up to the winery you had to take a huge bus) we got soaked. Starving, we headed to get food next. After we ate the plan was to spend the night at Mal's house but the fun was over and we were ready to go home. I think we got home a little after midnight. I will not be doing this fun run again unfortunately but I did still manage to have some fun with my friends at least...

Day 6 and 7 Mexico

Our last full day in Mexico Clay and I started the day out with a long walk around the property. Then we spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool and soaking up the sun. That night the whole crew went to dinner at a restaurant none of us had been before and it was good. They had turtles you could feed which our girls would have loved! It was a good LAST day.

Cheers to this amazing trip!

Oh Deana!!!

Love you babe!

Turtles! There were hundreds of them!

On Day 7 we packed our bags, sat by the pool for a couple more hours and ate our LAST order of fish tacos. Clay and I headed to the airport as everyone else stayed (they left the next day). We had an AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE trip. Thank you to these people that have become family - we couldn't imagine this trip without you all! XOXO

Day 5 Mexico

Day 5 started out with almost the whole crew going to breakfast at the yummy place we found down by the pier. Again it was delicious and the others were glad they got up early and went with us. When we got back I was ready to check something off my bucket list....parasailing!!! I shall say it was awesome, very peaceful and quiet all the way up there but also pretty scary!! I probably wouldn't do it again unless it was off the back of a boat and a 2 person sling. I think that would be more fun. Since I went off the beach I had to listen to the whistles and pull the cord at the right time to land. I wanted to do this last time we went to Mexico so I am glad I can now say I have done it! The rest of the afternoon we lounged by the pool and then just ordered in pizza that night.
